New S|C website and SCOPE XITE-1 pricing

Post by Holger Drenkelfort »

Dear SCOPE community,

Behind the scenes, we are making changes and having progress in the Sonic Core headquarter. And new creative forces have joined our team 😊

With that, the Sonic Core homepage will move to a new website system and a new domain, since it is our intention to provide better online services and presence. Within the next week or two, you can expect accessibility to the new website. The new site should allow better user experience, better store navigation and finer filters. In the near future we are also preparing a dedicated help area.

Designing and creating the new site was and still is a huge task, but we are close. We wanted to be ready at the beginning of November but this was not possible. So, we needed to decide whether we should postpone and polish this for the new year or should we allow our users to get a better experience with limited access (some parts of the website will be closed until they are finalized).

Unfortunately, as you all may be aware of, the global pandemic and supply material and delivery issues increased cost of pretty much everything. We are not excluded from. With that, the price of XITE units will significantly increase soon.

With the new website, you will be able to purchase XITE under current pricing for a short while. We want to run a promotion motivated by Black Friday, for Hardware and Software as well.

We want to keep you informed of what is happing:

1. We work on a new website in the background - it will be available within some days.
2. Some areas will be unavailable at the beginning but most important areas will be online.
3. What happens with old websites and domains? For the time being we will keep old websites active until we feel we reached a point of finalization with the new website. Obviously once we deactivate old websites we will redirect domains to a new website.
4. The website customer area is a "fresh" start, since our shop was hacked weeks ago. You will have to register once again to the new web shop.

We hope that we can move something again in the SCOPE world, and we would be happy if you join!

Yours

Does the website still serve as a backup for keys bought from SC ?
( I'm a backup paranoid myself, but I learned that SC also remembers keys )

We have a backup of the former web-shop, yes. But it does not have Creamware Keys backuped. So, please always save your keys. You can find them in the App/Bin/ folder as well, as Scope.rgy or kefile.v5

No problem. My "Xite-2" has enough DSP power and I/O already :)

:o

What ?
Can you tell us a bit more please ?
Is that just only a standard 1:1 D-Sub cable connecting XTDM bus of both XITEs ?

Are you (beta-) testing something ?
I guess, for any usable functionality, it requires hard-/software- I/O modules for SCOPE environment,- no ?

THANKS very much!
I will finally get Scope v7 as I'm going to upgrade to WIndows10 (I need that for some other software/hardware I got that don't work on Windows7 PRO) and then to Windows 11 as soon as it's considered "secure" to do

Built a Win10 box myself for Scope recently, we'll be documenting modern workflows here I am sure and I do hope many take this opportunity to get current and standardize for the next decade of Scoping!
