Hi,
I am on scope 5 PCI 64 Bit on Windows 10.
I have been using reason rewired to scope.
I recently purchased Reason 12.
Unfortunately it will not recognise the scope Asio Drivers but will run with limitations on the MME drivers.
I am having the same problem with oZone RX 8.
Both apps will not work with Scope Asio Drivers but with MMe but not so well eother.
Even though my scope drivers are 64 Bit, if I run th task manager I see Scope Running as a 32 Bit app.
I wd be grateful for some help on the above matter.
Are there any 16 Bit drivers for windows 10 for Scope 5 PCI?
Regards
Ike

Re: Reason 12 and Scope 5 PCI Drivers
windows 10 16bit drivers for v5? i guess you mean 64bit.
v5.1 is not supposed to be used in win10, but it can be done.
the problem is the way that those apps are processing the driver. try running them in win8 compatibility mode. this will not reduce performance.
the DRIVER is 64bit, the APPLICATION that loads the dsps and provides a gui is 32bit. the task manager is reporting on the APPLICATION, not the DRIVER.

Re: Reason 12 and Scope 5 PCI Drivers
You should upgrade to Scope 7 for Win10, imho.

Re: Reason 12 and Scope 5 PCI Drivers
Excuse me for asking.
Does this mean I should alsor run Scope 5.1 in compartibility mode as well since it is not suppossed to be used in Win 10?

no, only Reason.
Re: Reason 12 and Scope 5 PCI Drivers
I can confirm that Reason 12 and latest Scope 7 on windows 64bit works fine. Reason 12 is still considered "new" and does have some performance issues (check reasontalk forum) but they are working on it. Anyway it works normally with Reason 12.
Re: Reason 12 and Scope 5 PCI Drivers
Reason 12 and SCOPE 7 work fine here on windows 11 64bit.
If you continue to have issues you might try running Reason asio into Reaper and then Reaper asio to Scope.
That usually fixes the asio incompatibilities I have come across.
Its the only time I use Reaper at all LOL.
