Pulsar 1 with a motherboard B85M-D3H - problem with compliance?

Post by galaxyhunter »

Hello There,

After couple of years I tried to install my Creamware Pulsar 1 on a new PC with b85m-d3h motherboard. BTW it matches the port of PCI - it is 5V power I am guessing then, isnt it?
I removed it from an old PC set on WinXP and it worked there still.

Problem is the motherboard does not see the card at all, in BIOS and in Windows. There is no sign of the card in a Device manager.

The motherboard has got two PCI slots. I tried both. No luck. The MB is quite old one from 2014.
I cleaned the contacts on the Pulsar, no change. I put it back in the old PC and it worked fine. Back to the new PC it is not reckognised.
