Is it possible in 2020 another platform might possibly have MIDI CC control for their mixers other than Scope? :D

You can still set Logic to receive “hyper data” ‘ala 4.x control mode which allowed CC control over everything in the UI (not that I would...but it’s still there).

Dont think so at a hardware level - see the big 3 below...

BUT theres some guy doin MIDI Mapping for the Apollo Console app for Mac with Windows version on the way - maybe cross his palm with pieces of eight.... I note you are often a benefactor of such efforts :) ..even if you dont have the h/ware :o I like the way he has separate fundraisers for each feature request... how bout that for an idea Holgs ?

Big 3 sounds good, but... Is it just me thinking were Soniccore and Xite could be today with the right partnerships? after beeing on the market for such a long time it should have been victorious... Well ahead of anything else and the big ones just came out with their stuff... Not sure if I should be sad, angry or proud 🙃

ParseQ partnership would have put Xite/Scope on a similar functional level to the other 2 (e.g. tightly integrated DAW + DSP). The problem is Julian (audiobiscuit) was a one man band whereas Profools and Luna have had man years of dev.

I’ll grease him.
Nothing wrong with a little grease/corruption to keep the wheels of democracy turning.

I just can’t see buying a home recording set up when mine works for live performance.
Guys tell me use the iPad.
I wants a hands off solution.
I mix with my feet and thanks to Mehdi, Roy, Speilraum and others I can enjoy my performances without all the hand fiddling.

I’m currently working on a MIDI Automated face packer for Cocaine.
Looks like a tube from a talk box, I just lean over and step on a foot switch and one tube shoots Jaeger in my mouth, the other a rat tail sized pile of coke.

Nobody has the flexibility and routing Scope has.

I´d call it innovation !

A step up from my windshield washer container that I use to route the tube through my ashtray in winter time for shots of Jaeger.
Push the washer button in on my steering wheel, hold the glass below the ashtray, etc.
Scope’s routing made me become more innovative long ago.

Sucks because in Vegas there’s no winter and hot Jaeger is awful.

Weak.

MCU etc.

They need a Mixer, w/ GUI, right click/save, perform.

It’s not a difficult concept…

But I understand the UAD business model.
FX, then maybe a pseudo DAW.
Much easier than MIDI Controlled mixing and synths.
