DAS COEFF11 VxD file missing

Post by JoPo »

Hi.
I don't remember what to do but I remember there IS something to do !

I get the 'can't find DSP file DAS COEFF11 VxD' message. And the only DAS file that looks like that one is not a dsp file but a sys. Its name is : DAS COEF11.sys.
I must say that I turned cubase, VEP, jbridge and Scope in non admin mode. Too much plugins in which one can ONLY drag - drop files.

Anyway, who remembers the thing to do ?

Merci !

Well firstly, you havent said what plugs you're getting the issue on. What we do know from :

https://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic ... 11#p333234

is that the thing to do is use the special versions of DAS plugs that dont use it - eg DAS MASTERIT Lite and C350L

EG If you're reffering to MASTER IT - then have u tried MASTER IT EQ LT2.zip from http://www.digitalaudiosoft.com/ => Support => User Area ?
It works without COEF11

The files that are in 64bits-Version --> win7-signed-SYS --> Highend-EQ-Bundle --> DAS LEGEND.zip are the same I've got in my Scope folder. Except the BypassMixS.dsp. The one I've got seems to be a month younger ! And it's 2.93 Ko, in the zip file, it's a 2.85 Ko file. :-? :-?

I can launch all other DAS eq. Just the Legend one doesn't agree to cooperate.

DAS Legend working here on Xite-1 Win7 64bit.
(before you smoke your brain trying to figure this out do you have dNa Stereo EQ? it's a lot more elaborate)

It will work on Win7 because Win7 pre-dates the Microsoft Windows 8 KB update that broke it. That issue carries thru to Win10 as well unresolved.

Right, I think I remember that now. Other than the UI, I can't imagine why a security update would affect a Scope plug-in like this but fortunately there are other options. Sure would be nice to unhinge from the MS garbage.

I don't use Legend often, I just wanted to try it on a sound. I've got ple,nty eq, anyway, another one does the job.
But I like when everything works fine, even the stuff I use once a year.

If someone has a solution.... Otherwise, I'll try to go on anyway.

The DAS legend was good because of the Voltage Control warmer - but there's plenty of other plugs now that have something like that - both native and DSP. Console yourself that in using another EQ you will get the missing band back (7 Khz - 10 Khz) not covered by the Legend :)
