Midi Filter/Router

Post by mausmuso »

Hi There,
A little offering for those with more complex MIDI needs.
4 Midi Sources - Each with 2 separate filters (A & B) outputting to 2 separate 4x4 fully configurable routers/mergers (i.e. 8 MIDI Outs).
Effectively there are 4 separate filters for each MIDI input source (e.g. Midi 1 Group A - Filter A, Filter B and Group B - Filter A, Filter B)
All controls maybe controlled via CC's and all controls setting are saved in Presets.
I hope you find it useful.
regards
maus

Edit:
Version 2 has some new features.

Thanks Guys,
I have a couple of ideas to improve it somewhat.
Juts need to figure a couple of things out.
As Siriusbliss said in another post, its surprising nothing like this has been built before :D

Thanks Maus! This will def clean up my project window and offer some great routing options.

Quick question, was that a midi panic preset I saw?

Would it be difficult to include a midi panic button and/or midi monitor in your next update? That would make this a one-stop-shopping experience for scope midi.

Hi There,
The panic button is easy enough.
I had the same idea with regards the midi monitor, but I am having trouble implementing it.
The Midi monitor module in SDK does not seem to do what I expected.
Maybe its me - still working on it.

Thank you for this. I'll put this device in one of my favorite places, my MIDI toolbox folder! I suggested a MIDI Note Filter a while ago that I would LOVE to see made:

http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=32112

I would buy this device if it were available. Maybe you might be the designer, since you are actively developing MIDI filters? Thank you again for developing Scope devices.

THANK YOU

Seems like its the PREFECT present for me, since I got my new STUDIOLOGIC 88 STUDIO controller 3 days ago + my old ROLAND A800pro midi keyboard controller + 10 year old BITSTREAM controller...... I will NEED IT!!!!

ALSO very nice that you added the ability to assign midi, something that SCOPES midi filters do not have
I will try it AFTER I GO SWIMMING AT THE SEA.... :D :D :D :D

Hi There have released version 2 (see first post)
This version has
- Midi Monitor panel
- Mute button to mute all sources
- Routing text that indicates what each midi in and midi out is connected to
- Slightly different switching arrangement to (hopefully) make it clearer what data you are looking at.
Hope you like it

:o This is mad awesomeness. It replaces the mergers, filters and monitors all over the place with one amazing midi central that now goes into every project. I am willing to pay for this so I won't feel guilty every time I launch Scope (daily) .
