Vectron waveforms

Post by next to nothing »

This is a vectron presetfile consisting of of the following waveforms :

Revision 2 (initial release)
- 128 waveforms of fairlight vox samples
- 128 waveforms of a transwave
- 128 waveforms of a ppg upper wavetable transwave
- 64 waveforms of a wavetable math formula4

Added in Rev.3:
- 69 waveforms from a Virus synth

Added in Rev.4:
-64 waveforms PPG WT01 Resonant 1
-64 waveforms PPG WT02 Resonant 2
-64 waveforms PPG WT03 Maletsynth
-64 waveforms PPG WT04 Square Sweep
-64 waveforms PPG WT05 Bellish

All samples done by the user "jhulk", compiled to preset by myself.

Preset is to be loaded in Vectrons "wavecreate" screen. Once the preset is loaded they will show up in the waveform select dropdown menus in the main window.

Regular presets can be made using individual samples from the different banks.

In general, only the latest revision is needed as the waveforms from the earlier revisions are included. Last revision will be kept here for backup purposes in case the new revisions screw something up for user patches (allthough they really shouldn't...).

Enjoy.

Now 69 waveforms from the Virus is included. IMPORTANT: There is NO point in downloading this file unless you are having problems with patches you made with rev.3. Yes the virus part is also in rev 4. plusplusplus.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

The effort and generosity of the Scope community shows itself again, proving it's more than just about software or hardware.

Thank you kindly.

your fizmo wavetable sound creations please mr arkadin

in fact any transient or fm or any patch you like the sound of in f3 for 1 to 2 seconds

thats anybody can contribute to this and i will make a transwave from it and a 128 user wavetable with single cycles

being named after the person who sent the sample

it can be spoken word

It'll be a couple of weeks as it's having its regulator fixed at the moment. Also I'm quite new to it so I need to figure out how to just get a clean transwave recorded minus all the layers and effects.

if you need any help give me a shout i can put you in the right direction

but any samples will do i have all the fizmo wavetables any way as i have one what i was saying was have a layered patch

with 2 layers and filter modulation but no fx just transwave modulation either by envelope or lfo

but any remarkable synth patch you like

that goes for any body

the more the merrier

jhulk...until the transwave oscs are done for SCOPE ( :D ), can I get a copy of your fizmo wavetables? I am repairing an asr10 rack and would like something to play with :)

im an repair tech as my day job i used to work for an ensoniq authorized repair work shop and was the one who went to the states

for learning how to fix problems

if you need any help let me know

now for the transwaves yes ican let you have someof the fizmo ones

ill search for them but if i give you just th transwaves will you be able to program them or do you need me to show you how

as many get stumped

or are you after actual eps/asr instruments with the actual transwave already configured into a patch

also to make the fizmo sound you need to layer them in dual voices

but the asr10 is way much more capable than the fizmo as you can layer 8 totally different transwaves at the same time

and with still 4 note poly it blows the fizmo away

and the fizmo transwaves are not that good most came from the vfx

where as the asr10 you can make and use what ever table you want want ppg you got it want uwave you got it blofeld

no problem the esq1 spectra there you go m1 t1 virus d50 jd800 jd990

and you can morph fron one sound to another

you xan say chose a shruthi diy synth wavefrom on slot 1 a jd800 fatsaw on slot 2 or any wave on a slot over 128 slots then interpolate spectra as all slots are changed into additive spectra sin/cosin the sin is in phase the cosin is reverse phase thats why a waveform on the k5000 looks diferent from the waveform that you put in as its only sin additive so there is no reverse phase from cosin

and becuase it is done in spectra they always start at zero crosing and end in zero crossing so no clicks

but any help you need no problem

i have no idea why why more people are downloading rev.3 rather than rev 4.

Just to make it clear, all (and more) waveforms are included in the later revisions.

Speaking of Fairlight, theres a new ( well, 2009 is relatively new for an 80's synth) one :

Just discovered this thread, Thanks!! Lots of love and work went into this :)
Not wanting to be a thread hijacker or simply a waveform junky, but would anyone happen to have the TG33 waveforms handy since I'm really looking for that cold dronish character, I'm actually working on a TG33 modIV patch (2op FM part is easy... :P)
