Wavelab 7 with 32bit 5.1 Scope?

Post by 53E7 »

Hello all,

I've just gotten back into making music. I've upgraded to Scope 5.1. At first I tried the 64bit, but after using it I found it wasn't for me and switched back to 32bit. The main reason was I took advantage of the amazing revolution day and bought the Zarg bundle. I found that Solaris and Q-Wave didn't run very well (Q-wave only gave me 2 voices and I have 3 PCI Scope Pro cards). Long story short, with 32bit I get 6 voices on Q-Wave and Solaris, which is what I wanted.

What I want to know is will Wavelab run with Scope 5.1 32bit. In the notes sent to me when I upgraded, there is mention that Wavelab 7 won't work with Scope 5.1 64bit. I use Ableton Live, but I also have a need for a good wave editor and would like to use Wavelab 7 if it will work. If it is still incompatable, what is everyone using as a wave editor?

Thanks!
