Hey there,
sorry if this is a dumb question guys but scope does my head in at times...........
ive been using pulsar 4.5 with cubase SX3.
my scope 4.5 project consisted of the BigMixer where i had the asio in/outs, wave in/outs and pulsar analog in/outs connected and working great with cubase.
ive now upgraded to scope 5 and cubase 5
my old scope project with the BigMixer device wont work or open in scope 5
So....
what devices, mixer type etc... do i need to setup as a project in scope 5 to give me asio, 24bit recording and playback, with wave and analogue in/outs just like i was using in scope 4.5?
i have the Pulsar 1 card with 4 DSP.
thanks
SCOPE & CUBASE PROJECT ADVICE
Re: SCOPE & CUBASE PROJECT ADVICE
You might have to swtich to one of the newer mixers. (just a guess). I used to use that Big MIxer years ago but switched over to the 2496/4896 mixers and never looked back. Not sure what kind of performance you'll get with a 4 DSP card though. Good luck.
Re: SCOPE & CUBASE PROJECT ADVICE
Yup, you owe it to yourself to at least get a newer generation Scope Project card at the very least. Even running that together with your older card will allow you to use lower latencies and will of course give you the ability to load larger modules such as the STM 2448 in your larger projects. You can get a second hand 6dsp Project card now for dirt cheap, just check on the purchasing thread on this forum http://forums.planetz.com/viewforum.php?f=8
So definately worth checking out.
