New VSTIM - Mode and new Marketing Manager

Post by rhythmaster »

In the recent video the new Marketing Manager was talking about XITE-1 and the new VSTIM (VST Integration Mode) Mode.

Does anyone know the WHEN??????

:-?

When will this be released. I have XITE-1 since it came out and I'm barely using it.

Thanks
Harry

Today I met Ralf Dressel at musicstore in cologne for a prestentation of XITE. He told me about VST-IM as the new XTC mode which is coming very soon. But he also said that they are working on VST integration in Scope within the next release. Maybe this helps.

yeah, like music making these days...you can't expect bratty consumers who really don't know the first thing about real gear to learn how to use their little toys....

Not too fussed about the XTC mode myself - cant live without my routing window 8)

The VST integration in scope sounds interesting though. I hope they can pull it off.

I think they would be better off sorting the drivers out first (OSX / 64bit) though. I think sorting these would be better in terms of prospective sales rather than adding the new feature of VST integration inside Scope.

Also would be nice to be able to have other interfaces available within scope as source and destination modules (i.e. Midi interface, any non scope audio interfaces etc).
There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. These are things we don't know we don't know.

i also like the sound of scope mixer. is it possible (the new xtc) duende plugs (or any vst/vsti)will open in the scope window? so everything can be found in scope routing window.
thanks

easy access to xtc
is the best solution for future user
but a vstfx integration inside Scope could be cool

?but how much time for a workin' Vdat???? :-?

something in a Scope 3 folder should work in a Scope 5 system ?

I don't want to install Scope 5 to test something like that
i prefer to wait for an official release

(but if you want to crash test for us  )

afair v5 does not handle .oxe files. (and I would not expect a v3 plugin to run within v5 anyway)
