Don't want to make anyone mad here, but we come here and to Ralf for customer service right?

Why do these distributors who only make a mention of this fine product, and provide no assiatance whatsoever, are allowed to make hundreds off bucks off of my brethren? It makes little sense to me.

I like JRRShop's prices usually but who's gonna help you when something goes wrong? Surely not the fine babes who answer the phone. Do they even have a physical address as in a store?

The first time I tried a Nord Modular back in '98 I had to find a bro' w/ a computer. But the salesmen wanted me to buy a product called Triple Dat from Creamware and also a Scope DP card w/ pictures of little synths & such. I said for 6200 USD can I hear it? ....No. So I passed on both as the Nord didn't sound much like a synth to me, but more like a sample of one w/ a few little controls.

I finally heard Scope from a key-tech developer and said I gotta have that. But I wasn't about to buy it from just anyone. Then came the infamous GaryB. who spoke fine English and offered to help w/ the install until it worked. I bought everything he asked and racked it up, and could not even dream of handing someone other than him money for a Scope product.

Does Thoman actually help you find the sweet spot w/ the IRQ's , etc.

I honestly think only a fellow Scoper should pocket any profit from me as we both gain something.

Further more, SC should allow any old card holder to go direct to help keep some of your hard earned greens in your pockets. Especially for fellow Deutchlanders !! To think the product is right down the street, but will be sent a few hundred miles off to another place so they can pocket several hundred dollars seems so ridiculous. But hey, they got the kind of Guitar strings I like............Baloney.

Fuck Those Places...........Want A Sore Dick Deal?.................Call GaryB.

BTW Brotha' Man Gary,........Can I get a better break on the XITE-1 now? :D

You are right ... I am only 36 but I increasingly think that price is not always the key point. Support is becoming so important nowadays... And that also a matter of fairness : good people deserves my money and my trust, period. I just drop the others...

GaryB has always been kind and very useful/professionnal about Creamware / soniccore (and computers  ) and all the time spent on planetz to help people (even the newbies !) is the very evidence ! If I were in the US, that would be my choice for sure (remember that power supply is 110v vs 220v in europe).... Thomann is reliable for European customers (for delivery) but as soon as we need some support we have to rely on Soniccore/manufacturer itself !

Is there a link to a website? How does one purchase through him, or even see all that can be bought?

I have done business w/ UncleE and couldn't agree more.

But when Scope cards are the items to purchase, I must stand my ground. Just prefer someone who builds and knows the product.

I bought an Alesis Ion from UncleE and as advertised was refunded my money within 30 days. Also purchased my first Project card from him too.

The Ion was the foulest sounding board I ever bought, but it was my fault for listening to kids at @ KVR. The A6 sounded pretty good to me so I figured Alesis did their homework........NOT.

No offense to JRRShop or Uncle Eric. But Scope is definately a GaryB issue,................I'd rather fight than switch.......................Tareyton Charcoal Filtered Cigarettes Ad circa 1964.

I bought my Kurzweil Expressionmate from Brotha' Man Husker, but that was from a forum member, not a Carpetbagger Retail house.

haven't paid customs yet and I've bought a lot of gear in .We have g.s.t. [goods and services tax ]but they dont notice it till you exceed $1.000 au or so I've been told . There is no mains voltage on most computer music gear even the keyboards these days are u.s.b. so the most you'd have to do would be to get powered u.s.b. hub which I haven't had to do yet . Yeah amps are limited but you can always limit your choices to voltage switchable or get someone to tap out of the transformer if you must , or bite the bullet and go local . Fortunately these days I dont need a lot of grunt so behringer is a good option there for instrument amplification [they also have power amps that are switchable I believe ]
There is no customs duty at all on second hand gear so specials, refurbs or open boxes are the way to go there . For relatively low wattage devices you could also get a U.S. travel transformer and a plug adaptor which I have considered but never had to do but nearly did when I was looking at an an alesis dm5 which I ended up getting second hand locally . Certainly xite would present no problems except with she who must be obeyed :-?

I Feel Ya' Brotha' Man Skwawks.

I have been fortunate w/ the trim & Kit. But when I was raising my first son, my widfe would actually go directly to the management and bitch about the gear I needed. While she fought hard and usually won for me, I wasn't allowed to spend any cash, unless when we weren't touring, and I was a Union Iron Worker, but even then I had to beg and plead for 50% of my pay !!???

She was so tight with the money. ....... That when she pulled out a Dollar Bill, George Washington would squint, as he hadn't seen the sunlight since his birth at the U.S. Treasury. ................Ankyu.

She was so tight..............She would squeeze a quarter 'till the Eagle screamed.. ............Ankyuvarymush.
