FL Studio 8 released
FL Studio 8 has been released! It has great new features. People should really check it out....................
Pattern Clips, they represent a pattern and can be arranged in the playlist. Pattern clips are now resizeable from beginning & end. Also, one can move the notes inside a pattern clip backwards (1 step, 2 steps, .... ).
Remote and internal modulation/automation. You can send multiple signals comming from:
- midi controllers
- internal controllers
- automation clips
to the same destination. (for example a fader).
Now, when you click a button, you can move all things you want to link and after you are done:
- assign everything to a remote controller
- or create automation clips for each selected knob/fader
It also comes with an audio editor called Edison. Its also an effect, so you can drop it in a mixer effect slot and do recording there.............
many many more stuff in there!
Definitly worth checking out! Free support from me

the soundgoodizer is awesome
don't know how they created that soundgoodizer thing, but sounds awesome, its not a BBe style thing, cause the mids and lows are crystal clear also

Its based on Maximus:
Introducing Maximus
Maximus is much more than a pristine quality Mastering Maximizer, it's also a Compressor, Limiter, Noise Gate, Expander, Ducker and De-esser. Maximus excels equally well as a final-stage mastering plugin or as a per-track effect, Maximus indeed!
Maximus features at a glance:
3 independent user-definable High Mid Low (HML) frequency bands.
Custom look-ahead for the HML bands and Master compression envelopes.
4 limiter/compressors: One per HML band plus a Master wide band limiter/compressor.
Each compressor has an infinitely variable compression curve. Create any shaped knee or special effects (limiting, compression, gating or expansion).
Fully configurable. Any of the HML or Master compressors can be bypassed to configure Maximus to suit any limiting, compression or maximization task.
Two saturation types per HML & Master bands, with independent gain.
Phase-free mixing between the frequency dependent compressors and the master, perfect for parallel & NY-style compression.
Per-band stereo separation controls.
Optional IIR or Linear-phase band-split filtering.

can you have unquantized audio clips now ?
I stopped using FL a few years ago because you couldn't move audio around as it was always "snapped", meaning that I couldn't do a lot of the things i do with audio quantize/placement. (like moving an audio clip few samples/ms left or right, out of the grid and without any snapping).
