I wish I'd taken a screenshot of the original Pulsar 1.0 software, when the modules and software were teal/green colored.... :P

What ever happened to the Supercomputer

For those who think S\C Xite is alittle pricey check this out :o

CreamWare Announces SCOPE AP-2010 Audio Supercomputer

September 22, 1998The SCOPE AP-2010 AUDIO SUPERCOMPUTER marks CreamWare's next step in revolutionizing the studio world. Based on the SCOPE technology, a fusion of synthesis, sampling, effects, recording and any kind of audio processing, the AP-2010 is the ultimate solution for the professional studio of tomorrow.
53 Analog Devices' 60-MHz SHARC DSPs amount to a system peak performance of about 10 Gigaflops. On the I/O side the AP-2010 offers 48 digital channels in ADAT format, 36 analog channels of 'state of the art' audio quality and 10 digital AES/EBU channels. On the software side the AP-2010 will provide all the tools expected from a professional studio environment covering hard disk recording, mixing console, multi-effects as well as a whole library of electronic instruments like virtual analog and digital synthesizers, samplers etc.

The AP-2010 comes in a custom designed, acoustically shielded case, so the only thing missing in the AP-based studio of the future is the sound of a noisy computer.

The AP-2010 will be available in January 1999 for a price of under US$ 40,000.00 retail. :o :o :o :-? :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o More details should be available at the AES show in San Francisco.
