Best mobo for my setup?

Ok im going to buy a pulsar 2 in about a week and im being told that my motherboard (via kt7a chipset) is not one thats recommended at all. CPU is athalon 1.333 and im lookin to purchase a mobo with the best PCI architechure. Any Ideas?
