it's not that simple...
actually you don't pass anything, but inform CWA about the deal by giving them the customer's name, adress and board-id.
CWA then wants to be sure the registered code
on your card is erased and send you a program by email which does this job and generates another code to indicate successful completion.
After this the Minimax is registered to the the new customer by CWA and can be downloaded. They need to generate a new key for the customer's board, which will be added to the customer's 'your file'.
That's the main point and what makes this kind of transfer special, annoying and costly...
I'd seriously consider Valis' idea - the IO box is way ahead in sound quality of the EMUs - and forget about the 'DSP' FX.
Despite the name it's different stuff than on Luna - and almost useless because due to certain restrictions.
I forgot the details but found it in several (otherwise positive) reviews.
