Magma chassis 2 slot pcmcia.

Post by lagoausente »

I don´t use it anymore pcmcia. The unit works fine, I removed the fans because only used a 3dsp card and a picopsu power supply.
I still have the fans and the original power supply around so I can ship with it, because have the picopsu with the Virtuavia one (the one that supports ATX and more power).
Sell it for 60 euro plus shipping. Will test it before the trade, since there are sometime that don´t use it. Also will upload pics tomorrow.
Contact by PM if you are interested.

Hi,

Is this still available? Is it fully working? - have you tested it? You have advertised it as having 2 slots, but it appears to have 3 - is 1 slot not working?

Thanks,

Sethius.

Slot 3 has no space on this case, it´s a known issue on this magma models. I never tested slot 3, but I think it works the same as the other two. I suppose magma maybe used the same mainboard for 3 slot versions with diferent case, don´t know, google must have the reply.
I remember have read on the past that slot 3 only fits cards 1/2 height, so one scope card should not fit because of height on slot 3.
There is sometime that I don´t use it, I was on holydays and haven´t test it yet, but I´ll do if you are interested, but probably will work fine as always did.
Now have a virtuavia ATX version on a rack case, and a T400 with expresscard.
