Algorhythm, I totally agree with you. This discussion should not be held in the T&T!

Therefor I take the liberty to post the question here at the General Pulsar Discussion...

Okay ppl:
The question was how to use the MIDI section in Samplitude 2496 (version 5.whatever). The Help function is not clear in that...

In Samplitude you simply setup the track for recording MIDI just like a normal sequencer.

You can also drag and drop in a MIDI track (or separate tracks) from another sequencer.

Otherwise the MIDI implementation in Samp. is not up to speed with other more dedicated sequencers.

I simply synchronize Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Pro to Samplitude and manage all the MIDI inside Voyetra and track the sync'd audio in Samplitude. It works.

Samplitude is now marketed, developed, and distributed by magix.

it´s already late here, so i don´t want to search...
anybody able to tell me something about the midi functionality in samplitude?
is it able to use asio drivers?
w2k-compliance?
what about the support of vst plugs (compared to logic)?
what are the main benefits of using samplitude?

thanks
