Samples from Mars into scope ?

Post by nebelfuerst »

I bougth some sample pack from "https://samplesfrommars.com/".
They were delivered in various formats for some popular DAW.

Unfortunately, I'm scope addicted, so I want them to be played by some scope device.
Trying to feed them into the STS5000 didn't work for me.
Is there a way to do it ?

I would think not without a lot of conversion/translation and running an old Windows OS. I don't like to spend my time massaging file formats, and Steinberg Halion plays nice with Scope for me. While it would be nice to have a full-featured sampler in Scope I hope that the software engineers are directing their time and energy toward more important things.

You can only recreate the patches by hand in any of the STS samplers, setting up keygroups and associate samples to keys.
Some of their instruments are tweaked multisample sets, which is a lot of work to get at least a similiar result.
(these need the full Kontakt version, not the free player)
Sorry for no better news...

I would look at the older Sample Conversion markets on the market. Certainly EXS24's format hasn't changed one whit, and the Reason & Kontakt libraries may still convert Akai S5000 & before in a way that works well.
