which it always did very well - it's more important (and even more respectable) that old hardware is still supported and they didn't leave out WinXP.
Who else in the pro-audio gear market had the balls to dare THAT ?
On top of cake SDK was opened for everyone.
I may not post as much as in earlier Scope days, but this system is still my favorite audio workhorse in the background.

cheers, Tom

Yes it is very good that XP is still suppported and that S|C care about the customers. It is not that other companies don't care but an old OS is not supported as it is old and past it.

People collect gear, motherboards, processors, RAM, software sequencers that are all long gone and not for sale and not supported but people still have them and keep them because they are still good, not just as good as the newer stuff

Case in point with the Scope PCI cards and old software like Cubase VST 5.1 and even Arturia Storm 3 - So to know these are still useable on all operating systems is important.

I think it loads modules faster.

I have Xite-1.

Since v7 all seems to just run smoother.

There’s new plug ins.
Updated and fixed plug ins (sb404 works perfectly).
A new colour scheme that I find a little easier on the eyes.

Properly supports up to windows 10 os.

It seems to me a re build of the scope software for Xite.

What do you mean by smoother?
Did you have crashes with the previous version?

I had the rare crash in the past.

Not spent a huge amount of time with it. But for example, Solaris used to very often hit dsp limits while browsing through presets even when set to 1 voice.

When I went to the studio the other evening I was browsing through almost every preset I had with no issues.

Solaris was a good litmus test as it does push those dsps.

Also the miniscope graphics load up.

Mouse pointer doesn’t switch to an hour glass anymore which used to spin me out.

It’s all just smoother really.
