[Maybe OT] Pulsar problems with Cakewalk 9

Post by polpoz »

For two years I've used Pulsar with multi track recording software cakewalk, and it works fine.
Now, I've dropout problems with cakewalk, so , i decide to change my computer thinking that disk was too slow.
Nothing changed, I still have the same problem, and so I decide to update drivers and OS. (Pulsar 3.1 and winXP ) The same...
there are some tricks to configure cakewalk ?
Can scope solve my problems ?

Hi polpoz,
maybe one of these things will help:
- start again the wave profiler
- set the buffer size to more "safe"
- change the number of buffers in playback queue

You don't really mean Cakewalk Pro audio 9, do you?

...you're six versions behind at this point.

Pro Audio 9 still uses MME drivers, doesn't it? I think it's time you upgraded to Sonar, which gives you ASIO. WAY, WAY better. :D
