There was a v7 addendum (release notes, attached to this post). The full manual is still for v5, but not much has changed that's outside of the addendum linked to this post.

If you visit the SonicCore website (scope.zone) and go to the support > download page, scroll to the bottom and you will see a section that says "All Products: If the software you are looking for is not listed here, please visit our download server." That section has a button called 'Downloads' that will take you to a directory listing that you can navigate. Scope 5 manuals are under the directory structure Folder: /server/public/scope/scope_application/additionals/

See attached link for the addendum, download the full v5 manual above.

Ok. What is the scheme of connection in scope xite-1 virtual routing window if I want to connect scope ASIO on STM 4896 X?

i'm not sure about your question.

the following is just my opinion.

it's up to you to decide how you route audio. personally, i do not believe there is a perffect way to connect. it depends on what you are doing. i would not simply make a single template to cover all possible connections. that is wasteful, both of Screen space and dsp resources.

i normally have a basic recording and mixing template. then i modify as needed. it takes just a minute to connect things. it takes just a bit of thought, and planning, which is a good thing.

normally, i use the record busses on the mixer to route to the ASIO destintation, since it is rare that i record more than 8 things at a time. if i need more channels, i use the direct outs on the STM mixers to the ASIO destination.

for mixing, i connect the needed number of ASIO source channels to the mixer.

mixing and recording are two separate operations. in the big studios, there are different rooms for each, with different equipment. don't just "mix as you go". this is a very stupid thing that computers encourage. what it leads to is "painting yourself into a corner". it is a bad idea to mix before all the parts are in place, unless its a general mix for the purpose of guiding the next tracks.

Scope is virtual reality. it works exactly the same way as a room full of cables and hardware. Sequoia us merely a multitrack tape machine in that room. the ASIO source is its output jacks and the ASIO destination is its input jacks. if you do not know how a hardware studio is connected, you need some time in the library.

My Dear, Friend,

I know how to connect hardware connections, but I have a problem with virtual routing system. I want to connect Sonic core xite-1 ASIO driver on my MAGIX Sequoia 15 DAW. It can play only on ASIO4ALL driver thru scope xite-1. I need more VSTi and VST with smolest latency and better discratization...

the virtual system is exactly the same as hardware routing.

what ASIO driver are you using in the routing window?
do you put the ASIO modules in the routing window with the correct number of channels BEFORE opening Sequoia?
are you getting any error messages?

I guess he doesn´t find the SCOPE ASIO driver to select in his DAW.
Maybe the driver isn´t installed properly.
He should also see SCOPE Wave drivers in Win10 device manager/ audio and MIDI devices,- and set it up as "standard" playback device for Windows applications like Media Player or VLC etc..,- no ?

I use Win7 Pro SP1 64Bit w/ XITE-1 and SCOPE v7 64Bit still, so no experience w/ Win10 and SCOPE up to now,- but I guess it´s not so much different.

:)

You pick ASIO source and destination modules from SCOPE software connection menue, open pulldown menu and select desired number of I/O channels, then connect to STM by drawing virtual cables,- done.

Your laptop´s specs are meaningless for that purpose.
Correct SCOPE installation is important.
When you have a PCIexpresscard slot and your BIOS (or UEFI) allows disabling Intel Turbo mode, E.I.S.T. power savings as well as all the C states, it should work,- good or bad performance ...
More computer performance optimization for realtime audio can be done later.

You say, you cannot select SCOPE ASIO driver in your DAW once you added ASIO modules in your SCOPE project environment ?
In SCOPE application, there are demo projects which already have ASIO modules in the ballpark.
Do you power up XITE 1st, then power up laptop and launch SCOPE before you launch DAW application ?

I used samplitude X3 with scope5.1 and scope7.
You just drop some asio source and asio dest into your scope project.
Then I press "Y" in SamX3 to get the settings. At audio settings, I can select drivers.. so I select scope.
Now I can go to a track and choose the output to be some scope asio... worked without problems.
The reason why I left X3 was the lack of this combination to adapt speed to an incoming midiclock.

Heres a quick overview of how to do it with Cubase - Magix should be similar.

It isn't that noone would like to help you, as much as most of us are getting into the midpoint of our lives and have a fair bit going on with daily grind/family/making ends meet, let alone trying to make music. We're certainly here to help as much as we can, and if someone is willing to make a video call for free I'm sure they will speak (or would have spoken) up.

In the meantime, I believe fra77x2 gives lessons I believe, though I do not know the cost. GaryB has also been known to fix technical issues, and when it comes to 'whole computer' issues that's probably (not speaking for gary here) a paid thing rather than something that falls under support for Xite specifically (and thus falls on SonicCore).
