Hi,

As far as I can remember, the instruments pre-installed in the EX version are:

B2003
Minimax
Interpole
Lightwave
Vectron Player
Pro-one
EDS-8i
Vocodizer

Optional: (Pre installed on some EXs)
Six String
Prodyssey
Profiit5

Then there is the beta version of Vectron avalable which works pretty well!

Also, the effects section is fairly good.

You should consider buying one on Ebay. Would be nice to welcome you on board!

I sent an e-mail to Ralph, but I have not had news. Do you know if you can still have Prodyssey and Profit5 for Noah? In a few days I get the synth and I do not know if these 2 plugins are installed inside. Sonic core on the site with the update 1.1 of Noah I saw that you can download the folder Profit5 but not that of Prodyssey like this? is possible that the Prodyssey is actually contained in the original cd of Noah? The profi5 downloaded from Sonic core is working? thank you all for your help :-?

P.S. I recommend a Plugiator or a Noah EX that I found used but as new 500 € ???

Prodyssey and Profit5 need acticvation keys.

The Prodyssey was included in the Final edition NOAH ex. Maybe you would have it. For the Pro12, the activation key has to be bought form SonicCore. Creamware used to sell it for half the price of the same device sold for Scope (about 100 € instead of 200 €). Be patient with Ralf (the Musikmesse is just over and they should be preparing the Xite-1 shipping) or try it again from another e-mail address as he has to fight against spam.

Hello Cheerz, I did not understand what you wanted to say about Creamware and selling at half price. You could explain it better? You can buy it somewhere Prodyssey and Profit5 for Noah EX to € 100 each maybe?

many thanks

No I was just writing about the way CreamWare used to sell the NOAH plug-ins.
First of all, most of the plugs were included at delivery. T
he set of optionnals plugs had change during the NOAH selling period but the final models (NOAH Ex Final edition) were sold with all plug-ins included (except for the Profit 5 which was released one or two years after !!!).

About the pricing:
- I bought the Profit 5 from creamware for 98 € (at that time the Profit 5 for Scope was and is still sold at a unit price of 198 €)
- The Vectron Beta do not need any activation key

I think you could arrange something with Ralf, but do just wait to have received and installed your NOAH and send him an activation key file request. The only thing to provide him should be the serial number (found at the back of the Unit or from the USB remote software).

Cool - next you will probably find yourself chasing for a control surface for realtime tweaking the parameters of the synths. I'll recommend the Behringer BCR 2000 for which there are templates for all synths. You'll find the templates here on Planetz.

Yep, I made the templates :D

And this is the only way I am remote controlling the NOAH except for the MINIMAX and PRO12 for which I am just using the ASB instead :D

Hi!

I got a Noah EX a few weeks ago, it's an impressive piece of gear. The Minimax has nearly retired my ATC-1..! :D Anyway, I'm very interested in getting the Profit-5 plug, I have a late version with Prodyssey, and the Profit would be the icing on the cake. I actually emailed Ralph @ Soniccore, but all he said ws that they don't sell plugins for the Noah anymore, which is basically what I expected.

However, if I'm reading this post right it might be possible to download the Profit-5 and get an activation license from SC. Hurolura, do You know more about this? Do You have any idea where i could download it? Coolangel, how did this work out for You?

Cheers!

You could download the software from SC FTP site:

ftp://sonic-core.net/software/Noah/Profit5/

but the problem would be that you should request the activation key from Ralf.
And you have to pay for that !!!
I do not understand why the do not sell it anymore ...

:o :o Wow! I couldn't have found that link by myself. Thanks a LOT! :D I've been in email contact with Ralf, and he said he could help me. Right now I'm a bit broke, but as soon as I have money I'll get back to him. I spent some time with the Minimax and the Pro-One in my studio yesterday, they sound amazing. The Pro-One sounded incredible through my Genelecs, very full-bodied and QUITE analog sounding. The Minimax has a really beautiful upper range too, no aliasing worth mentioning. The factory presets use a bit more fx than I like, but the fx bypass button on the front panel is quite handy.

I can't be the only one hoping for a Solaris rack..?
