Hi.

I just bought an adat expansion board for connecting Noah to Luna. I read some of the messages concerning that, but still not clear for me if I need to buy the sync plate too. While recording in Cubase I try to compare the sound quality of noah instruments by using first Noah asio driver and then using adat connection and sfp asio driver, there is not much difference for me, Am I wrong? Ther is no click, pop or tickling, is it possible that there is no sync lost?

Yes it's possible. I'm guessing that you are syncing SFP to the adat connection from Noah.

I should have said that I use a syncplate with my system, it just depends whether you need to have SFP as sync master. In my case I've got adat & SP/DIF connections coming from other devices, so i need to use SFP as master. It's a real shame they never put an adat/z-link input on the Noah though. I suppose the Sync Plate had to be useful for something CW.
