We normally pay respects to passing musicians, but this guy did some great stuff too:

The Neve 33609 Compressor is THE all time favorite of mines when it comes to Characterfull compressors. True genius! RIP Neve! So many name bearing contributions that live on thus you'll never be forgotten!

Check out this SOS video https://youtu.be/jAwwsrnNdzg really insightful stuff in the evolution of EQ circuits . E.g. I always thought transformers were fir stepping up / down current - not part of ‘the sound’ !
