Love the Spitfire poly mod idea though.
Too bad they don’t get it.

you don't need every possible synth active when recording...

Yeah well...
If I can’t do it fast and on the spot I lose interest.
Stop playing, load some DAW. Then reverse the in and outs once again confusing me and ruining my motivation.
Then record. Remove instrument just keep the audio, repeat, repeat repeat, etc...

A drag really.
Should just buy an old Alesis HD 24/96 and stop wasting time with software clunks.

I’m still thinking Versalab for instant R&B gratification - with an audio track to overdub keys.

astroman wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 4:24 am There is a VDAT64 for quite a while and the VRC doesn‘t crash anymore in Win64. ;)
Just saying, by quotes, to record, JV, Scope is all you need (singing optional)

I had no idea VDAT works in x64.
Always loved the hit record/play, add bass, add keys.
Simplicity for a peaceful work flow.
I shall try it out.
Hope I don’t turn into the GEICO Caveman, beating up the CRT (old) monitor..

The device is called VDATx64.dev and I just tracked a minute and played it back (Win-7/64 and Scope in Program Files)
Confused... what‘s going on ? :D

I shall seek it out and see if Windows 10 plays nicely.
That would be so nice because I don’t need editing, quantizing, etc.
Record play stop and repeat. That’s how I roll...

Yeah, just only because x64.dev and .sys files exist, that doesn´t mean these work correctly (or at all).
There are also x64.dev files existing for all the STS samplers and Modular IV tape delay short/long 64.sys files as well.
Nonetheless, something crashed ModIV patch(es) w/ Win7 Pro SP1 x64 BSOD and STS won´t work on 64Bit systems.

I´ve found VDAT64 XITE optimized file from 2013 and provided by djmicron,- and there´s one from 2017 and possibly stock S|C.

Meanwhile my file collection for SCOPE became confusing because of it´s size ...

Anyway,- plz tell me what really works and I´ll install and use.

:)
