I’m sure we’ll get our fill of this news today, but still want to pay respect to the (almost) original Bond man and his iconic presence in everything he has done on the screen. Rest In Peace Mister Connery.

Tha mi briste le cridhe. Tapadh leibh. Togaidh mi glainne uisge-beatha anns an urram agad. Fois ann an sith, Sean.

I am heartbroken. Thank you. I will raise a glass of whisky in your honor. Rest in peace, Sean.

Indeed, a good stretch and quite a bit of a life it would seem, not bad at all. Zardoz is a good one, may have to find a copy myself and enjoy that this weekend. Appreciate the reminder on that one as well...

What a weird movie.

I like Bond better.

But really liked Entrapment.

Here’s a Zardoz style trailer about Katherine Zeta Jones...I think.

Indeed she is.

I’m sick so my concentration level is low.

Can’t practice, no trick or treat, just binge/misery of instant gratification flicks I guess.

I bought Zardoz so I’ll watch it again later.

Seeing that big head and the voice at the beginning kind of killed it for me.
Just not ready for a return to last century CGI yet.

Nothing wrong with T2 CGI !!! It’s still awesome to see a silver cop evolve from the floor.

When I first saw that, I was visibly shaken, not stirred.

Gary, you're killing me. You're comments are spot on. Boorman was a genius.

Those guns and ammo flying out of the Rock/Head were hilarious.

As corny as the old Bruce Lee movies where he’d be attacked by German Sheppards and they’d show low angle shots of dogs in the air where you could tell they just threw the dogs.

Also as corny as Perseus and his horse in clash of the titans where the horse was galloping in the air instead of having an aero dynamic posture.

Cool.
Penis is evil alright.
Penis make you broke..

We watched Delta Force 4 by sneaking into another theater when our movie was done, years ago. We saw the same scene of somebody in a Kmart uniform and khaki pants getting blown up and flying through the air, they didn’t even bother to shoot it from multiple angles they’re simply cut in the same shot 14 or 15 times during the peak fighting sequence. They must’ve only had enough of a budget to shoot and two or three days from the way the movie looked, and it was the funniest damn thing we saw that whole year. A few teens, a Spliff, and a second unexpected movie bonus made that Saturday awesome.
