Now I've seen it all....

Post by dante »

This will be fun. I've thought that since the AFL football teams have to play to empty stadiums out of this state, they need some canned cheers over PA when a goal is kicked or a speccy mark is taken.

I’ve been doing this forever because the Ensoniq Mirage had an applause sample.
I’ve got a dozen different wav. files I use and as corny as these are, they work great at gigs.

The Sheep will clack their hooves in approval.

He shoots, he scores, to the crowds applause
Used to be minimal fun to play effected audience noise back to them before a performance

My favorite button has approaching police sirens in wide stereo that sound like they stop right at the door. Well, it used to be.

Samples are loved by the audience.
We did lots of hard rock covers from the 70s to fill in blanks in the Johnny Rod/WASP Gigs.
War Pigs Air Raid Siren really wowed the audience and that made the applause fit in even better at the end.

I still use my 3 Stooges SFX and Curly noises too.
Chicks with big chi chi’s get the the Curly gnah.....woowoowoowoo.
