I’ve been using these for 6 years, best SCOPE friendly chipset for me over the years.
I have a brand new Z97m WS ASRock board.
If they re release a newer version of the i7 4790k I’m getting one.
My most recent i7 4790k and motherboard were both brand new in 2018.
Been using it non stop with the older 1U before that as my spare.
I run them hard for 2-3 years then just make another.
This Chipset is really popular with audio guys, but on overclocked forums I always see guys using these @ 4.8GHz on Air, usually Noctua.
Pretty cool if they release more of these and not just the 2 Core Pentiums.
