Seasonal snow

Post by valis »

In the northern hemisphere, in the areas that approach northern climates, we are now entering the months where there is snow on the ground. In honor of this, I have updated and enabled our yearly eye candy.

Since this should already have been obvious, I am leaving this note to let forum members know that the snow should not be active on mobile devices (performance/power related). please let me know if this turns out to not be the case.

My iPad Filters it out, but Google and Apple are secretly trying to convince me Earth ends in 10 years, so any thing representing snow, or cold goes against the employees agenda.
Even when it snowed here in September they erased my post on FakeBook, then I noticed anyone posting NOAA satellite shots were also scrubbed.

But thanks for confirming to me it still snows even though Earth is dying and will melt in 10 years.

And 40 years ago, it was made clear to me that we live in many big cities on our moon in 2020.
Let's get started, Roland Emmerich!

No snow on my ipad even in iPadOS's "desktop view". Would you like it to be so?

Well it snowed here in Tahoe today, went right up my nose like it knew the mission.
Really looking forward to real Snow on the slopes now that my beak was properly packed.

I used to have an IRC bot that ran megahal, and was trained off of the email archives on hyperreal.org. The references that thing would drop reminds me of your post, jimmy. It's name was p0wder :D

megahal is a conversation simulator that runs on top of an IRC 'eggdrop' bot, and hyperreal.org was the original us-raving scene network. I also turned on learning (adding more stuff to the database) with some music & production related channels, just to make the chatter a bit more 'club friendly'. I still have several versions of its brainfile archived somewhere, I wonder if there' a web based version of it now (and it might be neat to see if i can find a converter that's capable of reading this forum's content, too.)
