6-string and a DX7II listen mp3 Sound now

Post by Marco »

Hallo guys, after a longer Music pause I installed scope new. SC's 6-string machnine is a Beautiful device. I was really astonished how organic this device sounds, if you add another Sound to it, the sun suddenly Begins to Shine. I thought the 35 year old DX7II is the Right Partner for this Task. No Plugin could ever reproduce the original dx7 Sound but the original does.

I have now played a Little bit LIVE with it and added a DX7II to it, to make it Sound more Deep an dynamic:

Guitar playing #2

Guitar playing #3

Here I added Faxis FORMULA X as a Pad synth

Guitar playing #4

+Faxis FORMULA X as a OTHER synth SOUND

listen to it and say what you mean!!!

I have used cubase with 2 Midi Keyboards. One was played with 6-string+TX802, and one was played with 6-string+TX802+ a Korg Minilogue Pad Sound. Sometimes I Play Keyboard one or two or often both. It was a free Improvisation - frei Schnauze (german :D ).

The 6 string brings live into any stacked Keyboard Sound. I have not expected this.

I have added THREE more piece of MP3, with a totally diffrent Sound. :D :D

:D be happy if you have sc's 6 string, uncomparable to the AAS Version as VST  I HAVE Tried the Demo..... Sc's depth is uncomparable!

Keep in mind, nothing of these are guitars!

The AAS stuff is actually not too bad comparatively. One of it's highlights is a very low resource impact compared to it's main competitors.
The strumming feature is key as it is very hard to emulate the guitar on keyboards with upstrokes and ghost notes.
With that being said, not having Scope's Six String would leave a gaping hole in my musical pallet. Very unique sounding.
As far as distortion, I've been playing around with various types over the years. Hardware pedals and software cabinet emulations. Strange how some sound pretty good on synths/organs and others sound completely horrible. I'm sure someone smarter than me has an explanation.
Glad you are posting your ideas, please keep at it.

Hi yaya, yes the strum function is really cool, but this is the once. This makes it possible to play like a guitar player, trying to play like a spasmotic frantic guitar player is the result, no matter how hard you try. That's why I gave up to Sound like a guitar player. I am a guitar player and I hear every nuance. I keep playing harp on the Keyboard and guitar on the guitar.
But the 6 string is a beautiful harp, and in comparision to the AAS..... OK I don't say it 8)

Here is an Arrangement I really tried out the AAS Llast week, I should make a comparision Arrangement with a real guitar. In these examples I tried to Sound like a guitar player :

EXAMPLE 1

(the AAS helps me to find melodies...this will completely replaced by Real guitars rhythm +lead)

Or this
