Yes that is a strange question to ask when buying monitors, but then I remember reading a book called "Mr Nice" a biography about the life of Howard Marks, one of the biggest cannabis smugglers in the 70's, and he said they used to smuggle it in the huge cabinets used at live rock concerts, or something like that.

Or perhaps the guy who bought your monitors was just the paranoid type and maybe you got a dodgy look about you SpaceF, LOL.
