Voice / formant module

Something about formant and vocal synthesis that gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

I'm really putting this as a place holder for.myself here as time is freeing up and I'll have a long awaited dance with the SDK. Aside from a few other ideas, I might.play with this idea more.

The above link is some inspiration from a newly released VST. I particularly.like their use of turn-in (slight pitch shift that follows the envelope).

But there is a formant filter in the Scope system! We have the design also in the Solaris keyboard. I think it’s only available in Scope separately as a Modular unit (also in some of my Zarg Music plug-ins).

Nice find ! Thanks for the link. I also love vocal stuff ! What ever it is : filter, synth, sample library... I'm trying it.

There are vocal filters on Scope and they are very good. But the vst on the link is a complete synth that mimics human male voice, not only a filter.

same stuff we used for our didgeridreamer.

to mimic human voice the filter is just part of it.

just listened to the audio demo on that synth you posted. yah this is just formant/vowel/peak filtering. can be achieved without much effort in scope with the vowel filters which are really just a series of peaking filters.

In fact, Klevgrand does some other very interesting plugins ! Such as Kuvert, Esspresso or Korvpressor. They seem to be unique even they are plugins concepts seen thousand of times. As often in nothern Europe, they have a totally new approach and they revisit usual concepts. I like that very much !

Thanks again for that find, JK !

And again again, the Jussi synth is not about formant filters ! Apparently, it doesn't even have radical ones. Besides, it could be funny to add one at its output... He he...
