It wont be a perfect Delta model, in some ways it will be different or have added features, but I will be able to use it compositionally in that it will play the same role (as what I used the Delta for in the '80s) and sound like one when blended into a mix, even if your ears can tell its not quite the same standalone.

There are 2 sonic features I'm after mainly :

1) The unique 'synth - organ' type pad
2) The growling synth bass

then additionally

3) New sounds the Delta couldnt do, but still unique from other synths.

I think we already achieved 1) and are working on 2). I havent explored 3) much yet but the potential is there.

Hi,
Maybe I'm missing something, because I didn't read every line in this thread, but I can't find the Korg Delta file.
Is it still downloadable anywhere?

Thanks in advance.

its being updated to use multi sample osc

and i have added to the structure of it

making it paraphonic

and also i added wave forms from the different variations of the draw bars

which gave it a bigger sound pallet but because of the problems with the 1 sample osc

when doing bass sounds because the samples where played slower they lost there transient attack

but are much better with the new multisample osc and so i can use the full sample multisamples i recorded

i will also add the standard square wave of the draw bars

What happened to the Delta patch? I've been looking to recreate a string synth in modular, and thought I'd start here. And maybe create he oscillators from scratch instead of samples if helpful.
