Who says you can't teach an old DAWg new tricks..?
Right clicking on the channel number brings up a MIDI CC window, so for shits and grins
I thought I sure would like an easier way to go directly to a Channel during a gig and
make any adjustments to the AUX Channels, Monitors while staying in the recallable
window I program and edit in.
On my Physis K4 I can assign a knob, slider, pedal, button, any controller I want.
But it has a STEP feature I really like. So I adjust the range and by tappting a button can
cycle through the channels so they just use 1-16, as I do not need 17-24. So it just clicks
right through to the channel I want.
Works like a charm, don't know if any of you cats can use this, but it sure beats mouse clicks.

Is this a full work-a-round for the problem of STM only receiving on one channel (therefore not enough CC's to cover all controls) ?
A BCF2000 could send a 'change channel' message - eg 1 - 4 to STM. Effectively an 8 slider BCF could control 32 sliders on STM - would that work ?

JV; I've done that exact same thing with my Novation Remote SL and it works great. I set my channel scrolling to one of the endless rotary controllers though instead of a button, seems to me a lot quicker to zip thru the channels. You may have those already assigned to something else though.
Your latest rig didn't show any BCF/BCR so I guess it's one of those things to keep everything portable you have to sacrifice having well.....everything

Actually I have a Physis K4 using STEP mode and a footswitch.
It cycles through 1 to 16 as I don't use more than that.

Here's a couple of new tips for the STM Mixers.
Really prefer not touching the mouse at all.
So I save 2 x screensets for the Bus Page and another for the Channels.
When calling up the Bus page I can scroll through the AUX sends/Returns and Busses.
Just assign a fader/knob and go left to right.
Also I prefer selecting 16 channels to view instead of 24. 8 also works if more
screen real estate is needed.
But a screenset recall of the channel page allows you to scroll through the channels now.
That same MIDI CC# assigned to the lower right channel also allows you to view Master
Channel page only too using a 3rd Screenset.
Now you can view each master channel with AUX sends in a Master view only page.
If you really want to get assign the view buttons for window size each to a CC# too.
8 channels MIDI CC#98
16 Channels MIDI CC#99 and so on, etc.
These guys were so far ahead of their time we only now are starting to see the depth
of their foresight.

My favorite view for live work.
Each Bus pair requires a single CC#.
Scroll or Step (Physis K4 Step Mode) through master
channel view.
AUXs have CC#'s too.
