Can anyone recommend a good sample editor?

Talk about the STS series of Creamware samplers.

Hi.

I've been using WaveLab 4.0 instead of STS for editing samples and creating loops , and it's really quite good for this, having some nice automated loop-functions and other stuff. Just wanted to expand my views in the area. Can anyone name some other pro-sample editors with some quick pro's and con's ?
