308 samples!!

I used the 1Gb AKAI lib earlier mensioned on PlanetZ. Did some heavy processing to as many samples as I could.

There's also a very useful maraccas sample in here as well.

Works rather well for house also.

thanx a bunch Ken!!
these sounds will definately come in handy, nice variation too.
i especially like the vinco hihats, nice nasty attack in those.
however i get crackles in the machoman snares.
like loop-point-crackles. any idea why? or what to do about it?

the crackles were put in there. just a little ambient effect. but you're right.. some of them sound un-musical. dunno, I think it should work in the mix.

I was thinking of fixing the machoman kicks. (to make the mid lows a bit more richer) so, if I get around to doing that, I'll see if I can do a no crackle version for the machoman snares.

But I've got a metal klangs kit to work on! LOL

thanx! I'm really glad there are atleast a couple of people who found my hard work usefull. The shakers definitely kick ass. I'm beginning to use them in alot of my recent tunes just to give them a more natural feel. (and as a sample inbetween filler)

Ken, could you post the size on that file in any chance? I would love to hear some of those hits, but the thought of downloading a full Gig on a 56K modem just sent a shiver up my spine. Thanks again for your effort!

OT - I'm still playing with your 73 mod2 patch, and the more I work with it, the more I'm impressed with it's simplicity and sound. That was a really elegant patch you made, just want to let you know.

FANTASTIC ! Thank you so much Ken, these are beautifully produced, class A sounding hits, which are bound to sneek their way in one form or another into a great many of my compositions.

I am VERY VERY grateful !

Cheers

sorry for not following up. ya, I put the samples back up. have fun! use 'em as you like.
I'm still quite unhappy about some of the crappy kick drums, but the hithats and snares work great.
