Sounds Online still has a deal on their Quantum Leap Guitars & Basses CD for Akai; it's $20.
I have that, and think it's really good on the STS.
It loads differently than usual; you load up 3 or so sounds to make up one instrument with its details. Meaning an acoustic guitar might take up one slot for the basic sound, another for string noise, another for harmonics, all using the same midi channel. Works good that way.
