Scope 5 and STS

Post by dawman »

Would Scope 5 in 64bit be a nice boost for the STS series?

All other apps that go to 64 are able to address more memory. In the case of Gigastudio 4 you will be able to access as much RAM as you have installed,....8 to 128 GB's?!!

Surely STS will benefit if this happens.

I look forward to be able to use it w/ Giga also. Both have practically zero latency.

So in other words this update is basically just allowing SC to work w/ other O.S.'s, rather than take advantage of the few benefits they provide.

Too bad, I am sure that involves lot's of work.

Tascam has just finished becoming Mac compatible and many flavors of 64bit. It was a hell of a lot of work.

If they don't suceed hitting their expected sales goal, they have Tascam backing them up.

With every move SC makes it must choose wisely.

I hope we can enjoy watching them flourish.
