looking like thats going to be my way too :( and i am realy sad.. because that sts was realy musical to work with.. and i find the interface smooth and quick to work in..

but i think microsoft has rewend ruwend? whatever it ;-)

I even tried my old MB!

Standard pc the best solution,not to forget to disable PnP in the bios.
I was in hell sometime ago and since Standard pc no more problems with the STSs.not a singel crash even internet on hug no problems

Well.. after buying an old EMU e6400 ultra sampler, i must say i have fallen in love with sampling.. i am not using my sts 5000 anymore, never managed to get it stable.. even with standard pc..

i miss the realtime stretching algoritmes.. but the corde system on emu is like a dream.
