I got a sts4000 with a second hand PulsarII card, I've tried it last week end.
Wow, this is really extremely good, fantastic.
I'll never user anything else now for samples.

Then why the STS-2000P is not included in the LunaII package ?
Creamware should consider this ....

Did you find the UI easy to grasp, intuitive?

I think a lot of people find it a bit awkward to navigate, but if it works well for you then that's great

According to Creamware's website, only the volkszampler is included with the Luna card.

BTW - Is the Creamware.com redirection thing broken or removed? That usually redirects me to http://www.creamware.de/en/default.asp, but today the connection times out (the .de site is there as per usual).

No problem concerning the UI, I got the habit to try things before reading the notices, and it was quite simple to navigate.
I just have to try the loop mode now ....

Yes, the volksampler is included in the Luna package but it is XTC only.

And I always use creamware.de link, never tried the .com link.

I have just a question concerning the loop mode in the STS4000, I want to know if it has the same features than a Ableton Live software(tempo depending, pitch ...) ?

Indeed

I think that there is a strong case here for Creamware to at least supply a 'DSP-native' sample player with the Luna card (i.e. the STS2000P) - what if you're not using a VST sequencer?

Maybe not. Perhaps you'll be able to upgrade to v.4 and get the sampler.

I'm hoping for something like this too...the v.4 system replacing the Pulsar II package includes Modular III
