The Silverstone case is a solid choice for a 4U. Quiet as a dead cat who just ate mouse bait in error.

What moboard is that w/- the PCI slots ?

You beat me.
I like it too and it´s part of my AsRock Z97 machine for XITE-1.

The case is one of the cheapest rack case but it seems fine for my tasks

First Problem i have is the harddisc Housing is in the way of the Score pro Board.

Right now no big Deal, i ordered 1TB M.2 hd space

But i will have to use a flex to fix things and to have options for further HD space

Asus Prime B460 Plus Socket LGA1200

I think almost Last One with 2 pci slots.

Generally i prefer gigabyte motherboards in terms of quality, but they all come with max. 1 PCI Slot.

Possibly not necessary.
Use the 5.25" bay for HDD w/ 3.5">5.25" adapter brackets !
1 optical and 2 HDD´s are possible.

I don´use the SCOPE PCI cards in that case, but I use the 5.25" bay for a single SATA-600 WD Velocity Raptor 300GB,- just only for audio recording.
2 M.2 in addition.
The 3.5" bay is somewhat in the way of propper airflow anyway,- especially when using the big DSP cards.
I use the bay for 2 SATA 3.5" SSDs, but it´s all for XITE-1, so no multi-DSP-chip heating inside the case.

today i received the rest of the compoenents

everything worked fine and system is now running windows 10 64Bit.

Hopefully garyB will be sending me the scope v7 keys soon, so i can check the scope cards running fine.

And of course do a masterverb loader test. ;)

Sadly the big cooler was too big for the case. ;P

Nice. It's good to give the cards a nice big case with lots of ventilation, at least I think that's part of how my original cards have been alive for more 20 years.

Thank you very much garyB for the quick response!

Just tried the stuff and it seems everythink is working perfectly so far.

I can load 9 x masterverb pro stereo without any finetuning. (don't even know what i can do to optimzie it, with the 10 MV pro i get an error, project has to be optimized....)

But that seems fine so far.

Latency seems also good: running @4ms right now -> No clicks so far. okay right now no big cpu heavy tasks.

I think i am happy soo far! :) :) :) :) :) :D :D

I did not expect it to be so easy to get it up & running :D

For that case, this works excellent ...
https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info ... 76000.html
It fits under the "bridge" while still getting enough fresh air from "above" !

I have excellent temperatures.
Just only replace stock heat conductive paste by Arctic Silver.

For case fans I used "NB" noise blocker ...
IIRC, front fan was some e-loop and rear the best I was able to find from NB.
It´s all about the balance "what comes in" on front and "goes out" on rear.
For best airflow, both should match sowmewhat.

Just found out about the new Asus Prime B460 Plus mobo and have 15+6dsp sitting on the shelf.

Good to know @hifiboom you have had a good experience with this board - Time to build a new extra system :)

I'm using the Asus Prime B460 Plus as well, with Corsair DDR4 3200MHz CL16 and i5 10600k, Pulsar 2 and Luna.

Runs really smoothly. Was very nice feeling to be able to run glitch free at minimal latency again, like in the old XP days! When actually making a track stressing the system I got the occasional glitch, and now run at medium latency to be sure and it has been running perfect.
