Spicy Hot Chili !

Post by JoPo »

I made this heavy Xite-1 project and as I'm very pleased with it, I put the link on Z... :D
It is completly mixed in Scope Xite-1 but I use also my 3 pci boards (13 dsp) for i/o and reverbs and in this way, I can really load a lot of devices (mainly effect processors) before any Xite Scope complaint...

There is 4 modulars effects processors full of BCmodular modules and effect devices on all channels + mastering chain. The dsp meter was almost at its maximum.
Scope + Xite + pci is really the best audio gear I may dream of and it's in my pc ! :P Que du bonheur.

I hope you like spicy food... Bon appétit.

nice, very hot track! Do you use an EWI for the sax? I think I will have to save up for the SWAM engine Sax Brothers, that blows my SaxLab sounds away although it was a lot cheaper. As I get better from practicing I think I might have to reward myself though.

Great job.

Merci beaucoup, John!
No, even if I study alto sax a lot in mi youth, I don't play much anymore and not more EWI. It's midi track. But yes, the soprano sax (my favorit !) is SWAM from Sample Modeling. For me, from far the best sax sample bank. In 'SWAM Sax Brother', there is a soprano, alto, tenor & bariton sax and they are all 4 as good ! And the clarinets too ! They also released "the Trombone 3.0" which is amazing ! And they told me they are going to release there awesome trumpet in the 3.0 version in the next time.
There is no sample library as good as them for solo brass of those intruments. I'd like them to release also a brass section but it doesn't seem to be on there plan...

If you're looking for a very good sax sample library, you won't regret your money ! It's worth it ! (But read the manual !)
