MIDI router tool

This is just something I made quick for myself when I want to use for example a usb keyboard in scope without opening a DAW.

Standalone windows program, no GUI or anything, just a fast tool. Just chose the MIDI device you wanna send to Scope in the MIDI In, and then a Scope driver in the MIDI out.

A neat device
Should be very useful when testing SDK devices during design.
I see you can open more than one at a time. Should be able then to bring in midi from a keyboard and a controller at the same time by using a midi merger in scope?
thanks heaps
maus

Just tested it. It needs scope v.5 (at least).

Hey Faxi. Great tool:)
Any chance of you adding a "run on system startup"? I know you can do that yourself easily, in windows, but what I am really missing is a "save this configuration and run on start up".

Would love to boot up my machine and have this running with a specific in/out configuration right off the bat.

Pretty please?
;)

this one is resizable, also its very ugly :P i made it in a few minutes so don't expect beauty.... but should work. Resizing however is not peristent so that setting won't be saved, is that important for you?

ahh i only now understand, so you want everything persistent... i guess that's easy enough, i'll see if i can find a bit more time

for launching with the pc, you would need scope to be launched first in any case, or the driver won't be found. you could set up a bat file that runs scope, runs this, runs whatnot....

or this, but again scope needs to be launched first -> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 3c295d89dd

Add an app to run automatically at startup in Windows 10
Windows 10
Select the Start button and scroll to find the app you want to run at startup.

Right-click the app, select More, and then select Open file location. This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved. If there isn't an option for Open file location, it means the app can't run at startup.

With the file location open, press the Windows logo key + R, type shell:startup, then select OK. This opens the Startup folder.

Copy and paste the shortcut to the app from the file location to the Startup folder.

Cool man! Thanks! Don’t care about size.
I just want settings to be saved.

Thanks a lot man!

Hey, give this one a go please, let me know if works as expected. everything should be persistent, when you click on the button the current settings are saved to a settings.txt file that is stored on C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ocean Swift\Midi Router

If this version is good i'll update also the original post, lemme know
