hey, dp folks...

..what about sequencing within the pulsar/scope environment? i just have seen some little, unspectacular modules for the modular...

i´d like to have a module, which doesn´t require the (dsp-hungry) modular, which can be simply dragged into the project.
a sequencer module, which can be set to more voices than just one, and where i can break out of the quantization, like a little ms-delay for each note.
these modules could be synced and controlled (for more tracks than one) by a transport module / remote, which determines tempo, swing, and start, stop and navigation through measure. that modular conception makes it a dsp saving solution, apart from e.g. an eight-track sequencer...

if anyone with enough knowledge and time is willing to create such a device, please mail me (or answer at least here, why you would not create such a device).
however, i would be very very pleased if such a device would be available for my platform.

the benefits are weighty (at least to me): it´s polyphonic, it has a short delay for each note, so one can program as groovy as in the piano roll. it´s completely in the dsp environment, no need for an external program.

and the transport /remote:

i would except creamware will only provide the sequencer atoms to certain developers. i am not one of them.

Neither am I......

I believe a lot of modules, have never been released or only available for a small group of developers.

So how do the Pro-One and Synchrotron do their sequencing ? And is it possible to just re-skin the Sequencer modules from ModV2 ?

andre from grenzfrequenz told me about the possibility of using gate values for such purposes, because midi is not really supported in dp, meaning you can´t build a sequencer as usual.
so... i´m a little disappointed of creamware at this point. i think, i´ll send these .jpgs together with a questioning mail to creamware, when they´re not that busy anymore...

however, isn´t there a possibility to 'mis-use' other (not just gate signals) values in the dp to emulate polyphonical midi? must be...

 <i>"when i´ve grown up, there will be a day...when i will surely have a scope card, i´d say..."</i> ok, that means, it´s a little out of reach for me now, but i´d love to have dp...
