SDK manual project

Post by Shayne White »

Hi everyone,

I know I was supposed to be the leader in the SDK manual project, but there hasn't been anything happening for a couple of years. I apologize for that and not giving you updates...I'm sorry. Part of the reason is that I lost the impetus to undertake such a huge project for a platform that I consider as pretty much dead at this point. Except for loading the occasional MiniMax or a few other things, I'm not even using Scope much anymore and am currently transitioning my DAW over to a Mac. That's not to say I'm leaving the SC world entirely...I'm really interested in the development of Solaris, and I'd even like to to get an ASB at some point. But Scope is not going anywhere right now, and when SC finally does come out with a new version, I don't expect it to look much like what it does now.

Again, I'm very sorry I totally blew my responsibilities. If some other enterprising Scope user would like to take up the project, that would be welcome by all, I'm sure.

I'm still using Scope as my hardware audio interface and as a synth rack, but it isn't quite the backbone of my whole studio the way it used to be.

Regards,

Shayne

I have just been to the SDK manual Project website:-

http://sdkdg.cwaudio.de/

and was automatically taken to :-

http://www.sonic-core.net/de/home/index.html

Anybody heard anything?.

Is this a permanent closure or is the website having a overhaul?.

It seems anything that was at "cwaudio.de" is automatically directed to Sonic Core now. The forum is probably gone.
