BFD run compatibility

I have Win10 Scope 7 and Cubase 10.5

I loaded my BFD 1.5 and did the most current free update. For comatibility mode the highest offering is Windows 8. Will there be a problem? I am trying to keep from having to upgrade to BFD3 which costs $349

The 349 is the problem, not compatibility mode.
