Post by Ditykman »

Hello

I am happy today.
Since Win10 I have got clicks and pop. (3 years)
I have tried it on 3 compus

Finaly I bought a lenovo W540 and it is the same. The only thing is there is no clicks at 24 ms.
But for live...
This morning I desactivate in windows parmeters the Intel Managment Engine Interface and I run xite 7.0 at 3 ms without clicks!!!!!!

It is normal ?
There is a better way to desactivate IMEI?
Thanks guys

Apparently, it's something for remoting a pc.
I had some clicks issue when I go fron 32 to 64 bits. I get rid off it by desactivating CPU turbo and all sort similar things in the bios. In fact, in order to save the planet, the CPU frequency is reduced when less computing power is needed. So the CPU frequency may changes very often ! And that generates clicks.
So, you have to find the way to avoid CPU frequency changes in your bios. For DAW application, try to find the way to keep it at the faster frequency without changing !
And there is the real time capabilities of your computer too !
I advice you to watch this video which is very clear and useful : http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic. ... 78#p338278
And full of useful tips to be aware of !

Thank you man!
I was thinking all the bios cpu saver are disabled but peraps?
wiki says that the intel managment engine cannot be disabled in bios
The modules of the intel managment engine are :
Active Management Technology (AMT)[2]
Alert Standard Format (ASF) support[citation needed]
Intel Boot Guard (IBG)[30] and Secure Boot[26]
Integrated Clock Controller (ICC)[citation needed]
Quiet System Technology (QST), formerly known as Advanced Fan Speed Control (AFSC), which provides support for acoustically-optimized fan speed control, and monitoring of temperature, voltage, current and fan speed sensors that are provided in the chipset, CPU and other devices present on the motherboard. Communication with the QST firmware subsystem is documented and available through the official software development kit (SDK).[31]
Protected Audio Video Path (used in PlayReady DRM)[citation needed]
Intel Security Assist (ISA)[citation needed]
Serial over LAN (SOL)[32]
Firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (TPM)[30]

une affaire à suivre...
merci
