Can not insert effects when using asio

Post by broken_halo »

I was wondering what is reason for me not being able to insert any effects into my tracks while using asio?? I can do aux sends and returns but sometimes I want to have the effect inserted right into that single channel. Is this normal or is there something I am doing wrong?

Cheers

you are trying to use the inserts in the Scope mixer? right click on the insert slot.

it will not let me insert anything , just a greyed out option , seems really strange.

Are your effect devices in the default Scope directory? I ones tried to move them to a different directory (I also updated the devices path in the scope settings window) but then the mixer couldn't find any insert effects (but the menu in the routing window did).

I will check that when I make it home (I work up in the far north 2 weeks at a time) I have had that issue before and think I exhausted that option but I will make absolute sure. Thank you very much for all the info!!
