Timing Issue

Post by Darryl Rott »

Hi there.

I have a Luna 2 with Scope 4.5 running Cubase Studio 4. I ran SX3 for a long time and never had any problems. Since going to Studio 4, I am now experiencing an issue where my click track won't line up with what has been recorded.

It will seem all good when recording to the click, but then when it is played back the timing of the track to the click is wildly off.

I have no idea where to turn. i don't know if it is a Scope issue, a Card issue, or Cubase.

Looking for any thoughts.

Thank you
Darryl

True, I read that too--- didn't know that ASIO latency had such a big influence in MIDI timing. A very good article indeed!

Thank you to all who responded. "Checking off " use system time stampl" solved my issues. Thank Thank you. The article on testing the timing was VERY interesting and revealed some other tidbits of info I may need to look into. But anyway, thank you for this forum and for taking the time to respond to my post!!!
