I bough very recently the roland A880, the anscester of the um880. Basicaly it's a midi router/merger which is only hardware, no pc interface, no usb, no nothing. And that's exactly what i wanted. And it also has the cable checker function ;) You can expect a troublefree operation, which is what is ...

Bought a HP NW9440 a month ago...

I'll get a magma pci to expresscard adapter for my magma chassis soon.

So, i'll have Scope going thru ExpressCard instead of PCMCIA...

Supposed to be alot faster, i bet i'll never see PCI Capacity limit reach again :)

Yep agree with you valis... It's also the use i intented for it at first too...

I don't use any VST/VSTi host at all, i sequence midi outside in rs7000 or MV8000, as i feel the one will fit better my goal.

I never heard the 'original' z-plane filters, but i shure find those i have in EmulatorX pretty hot! I don't know what you didn't love in them, but playing with different filters shape, there alot you can't do in scope if you compare with those... Using some of your older filters design spacef, like...

Maybe you have info i don't?

Anyway, still not a problem, the soft is working like a charm.

I run it on an old laptop, HP pavillion ZE4931ea, 1.6ghz centrino based with 2gb ram It's effectively very resources hungry, but hey, it's sampling stuff really well, i run it standalone, and i don't really load more than 3-4 patchs at a times usually. i run about 70-80 voices of polyphony with this...

Emulator X does it pretty well

Can even automate vsti or external synth (or creamware synths for that matter) sampling with lotsa parameters.

Emulator X is i think the best sampling sampler there is.

And has really great z-plane customizable filterz.

Midi Clock data is inherently not perfect because the way it is transmitted... I think your better to set the bpm in prisma, but still control midi notes from RS. I use the rs the sequence everything, and it's effectively ALOT more tight in timing external midi device than sx for example. Take eds8i...
